Carrie Blackham
Executive Director of The Arc of Evansville, Carrie Blackham, brings extensive leadership experience in operations management, nonprofit governance, and performance improvement. In her capacity as Executive Director, she is responsible for overseeing The Arc of Evansville’s programs and services to meet the needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Evansville and the surrounding communities. Carrie works with local agencies, community leaders, local and state elected leaders and donors to advocate for individuals with disabilities. She also works closely with The Arc of Evansville Board of Directors and management team to fulfill the agency’s mission and vision for the future.

John Miles
John Miles Bio
Evansville. He currently serves as the Interim President and has the responsibilities of overseeing all aspects of the Finance Department and the financial operations of The Arc of Evansville, including maintenance of the general ledger, financial statement reporting, budget preparations, coordinator of external audits, administration and supervision of Accounts Payable & Receivable. In addition, John oversees Medicaid, Group Home and State billing.

Cinda Phillips
Vice President of Development Cinda Phillips has a genuine desire for individuals with disabilities to live meaningful lives. She is passionate about connecting, engaging, and cultivating relationships with others to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities. Cinda joined The Arc more than five years ago as the Assistant Director of Development and has made advancements throughout her time with The Arc. She has extensive nonprofit management experience and a Master of Science degree in Management. Cinda has played a vital role in the Development Department’s success through her grant writing, communications, and relationship-building skills.

Morgan Cloum
As the Chief of Human Resources, Morgan plays a significant role in the organization by building an organizational culture that benefits employees and the organization itself. Continuously, she seeks improvements to make The Arc a better place to work, resulting in better services for individuals with disabilities. Morgan earned a Bachelor in Business Management from Western Governors University.

Kayla Schmitt
Kayla Schmitt has worked in the non-profit sector and has supported people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) for over ten years. Kayla has served in many different roles at The Arc of Evansville and brings a wealth of knowledge to her current position as Chief of Staff. Kayla’s responsibilities include serving as the Executive Director’s aide in overseeing and leading the organization and its facilities. Kayla strongly advocates for the people we support and the agency’s employees.

Samantha Eberhart
Sam began her career as the Manager of Work Services and now serves as the Director of Operations and Business Development for Arc Industries, a division of The Arc of Evansville. Sam supervises all activities, including developing and maintaining meaningful work opportunities for individuals with disabilities by locating contract work through sales to manufacturers and businesses. Sam enjoys networking with other companies in the community and bragging about the fantastic work of Arc Industries. She is a USI graduate with a Masters in Occupational Therapy.
