Respite Services are provided on a short-term basis in order to provide temporary relief to family members providing unpaid care for an individual with a disability. Activities provided in this service include supervision as well as assistance with toileting, feeding and personal hygiene. Assistance with meals and medications are also included. Services must be scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance and for a minimum of a 6 hour period. Respite may be arranged for any day of the week or any time of day.
