Respite Services are provided on a short-term basis in order to provide temporary relief to family members who are providing care for an individual with a disability but are not being compensated for providing that care. Activities provided in this service include supervision as well as assistance with toileting, feeding and personal hygiene. Assistance with meals and medications are also included. Services must be scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance and for a minimum of a 6 hour period. Respite may be arranged for any day of the week or any time of day.
