The Child Life Center receives Safety Backpacks!

Thanks to a recent grant from the Vanderburgh Medical Alliance each room in our Child Life Center received a fully equipped safety backpack filled with first aid supplies. These backpacks will make it easier for children to receive care while outside playing or during a neighborhood walk.

As you may know, Tony Winstead, Facilities Manager of our downtown location, recently celebrated 31 years of employment with The Arc of Evansville. At the end of this year, Tony will be retiring, and we want to thank him for his dedication and commitment to The Arc.

Individuals from our Connections For Life Program have been participating in painting rocks to hide through-out Evansville. This new trend allows individuals to paint various rocks with different designs and then place them outside for others to find.
